This brief was to create a logo for a Tynemouth based fundraising event: The King Edward's Stairs Challenge, where fundraisers run up and down a large set of stairs as many times as possible within 8 hours. I was inspired by 70s design for this, as well as the design work of Aaron Draplin.

The logo was to include the stairs at the Tynemouth beach, as well as the Tynemouth Priory on the other end of the beach.
